Wine should not be regarded simply as a beverage, but as an art of living, a pleasure.” – Henri Jayer

Today’s Wine Tasting:
Wines by Alois Lageder of Alto Adige.
Founded in 1823, Alois Lageder produces organic and biodynamic wines in northern Italy’s alpine region of Alto Adige.
With a tag line: “Cultivating nature as a habit of life” the family honors a multi-generational commitment to environmental responsibility.
The winery offers three lines: Classical Grape Varieties, Compositions, and Masterpieces.
In addition, Alois Lageder recently added a new label, Terra Alpina – wines sourced from the Dolomites.
All of these wines vibrate with energy, purity and precision – plus astounding quality-for-value.
No brainer. You need these wines. They touch a nerve with their verve.
