L.M. Archer is an award-winning photojournalist, writer, content strategist and ghostwriter for consumer, B2B, B2C platforms worldwide.

Her works appear in publications worldwide, including Somm TV, Wine Business Monthly, Pix.wine, The Buyer, Meininger’s Wine Business International, Oregon Wine PressWine Enthusiast, Taste of France, and The Vintner Project.

She also conducts a monthly author interview series for Gotham Ghostwriters, served as a 2022 Slow Wine Guide USA Oregon field editor, and serves as a judge for regional wine competitions.

When not writing, traveling, tasting or entertaining à table, she’s helping others find the write words.


An Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year 2020 award winner and 2021 Shortlist winner, she’s also a Meadowood Professional Wine Writer Symposium Fellowship recipient.

Moreover, she moderates a number of industry panel discussions. These include Oregon Sparkling Wine for the 2021 Wine Media Symposium, and “How to Draft a Killer LOI” for the 2021 ASJA Conference. She’s also moderated online panel discussions on Willamette Valley sparkling wine and Brexit: State of Play for the Circle of Wine Writers. Other visual experience includes video correspondent for FoodableTV

Professional affiliations include Society of American Journalists and Authors (ASJA), Circle of Wine Writers (CWW), Academy of Media Tastemakers – TASTE, Gotham Ghost Writers, and International Travel Writers Alliance (MITWA).

A graduate of Smith College, she holds designations in Bourgogne Master Level, Champagne Master Level, and French Wine Scholar from the Wine Scholar Guild, as well as Wine Fundamentals I & II through the International Sommelier Guild.
