 Oregon and Bourgogne ‘Tied Houses’

French #Winophiles Preview Oregon and Bourgogne Tied Houses

 Domaine Drouhin & Résonance Wines

Prestigious Oregon and Bourgogne tied houses Maison Joseph Drouhin‘s  Domaine Drouhin Oregon and Maison Louis Jadot‘s  Résonance Wines take center stage on December 19th at the French #Winophiles virtual tasting.

(In case you’re wondering, ‘Bourgogne’ is the local term for ‘Burgundy.’  ‘Tied-houses’ refer to domaines with holdings in both Oregon and Bourgogne.)

For the uninitiated, the French #Winophiles comprises a virtual wine tasting group of wine media and influencers. Each 3rd Saturday of the month, participants meet up on Twitter to discuss varying wine regions, producers and food pairings.

In addition,  Résonance Wines winemaker Guillaume Large will attend the December 19th French #Winophiles Q & A on Twitter.

During his appearance, he’ll cover issues like the similarities and differences between making wines for Oregon and Bourgogne tied-houses. He’ll also touch on the impact of climate change upon farming in both areas, plus share some cool insights into Jadot’s own in-house cooperage. See you there!
