I’m delighted to share my podcast interview with host Steve Salisbury on “If Vines Could Talk.”

In the interview, Steve asks me about my fave Michigan bubble makers, regional impressions, sustainability, and more.  Spoiler alert: I like Michigan sparkling wine – a lot.

Furthermore, we also reveal the unexpected connection between Michigan and Oregon sparkling wine, and the growing trend toward quality traditional method sparkling wines worldwide.

Many thanks to Oregon colleague Neal Hulkower, author of the book “Great Explications,” and guest on Episode 104, for introducing us.

Another nod to MAWBY and former 2 Lads winemaker Thomas Houseman for introducing me to the wonderful world of Michigan sparkling wines, and winemakers – including 2 Lads, Left Foot Charley, Mari Vineyards, and Black Star Farms.
