For the second consecutive year, I’m honored to make the shortlist for the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year wine photography awards.

The Wine Photography awards, part of Pink Lady Food Photography of the Year awards, fall under three categories: ‘People,’ ‘Places,’ and ‘Produce.’

From over 10,000 entries, only 28 make the final shortlist for each category. Ultimately, only 3 of those 28 shortlisted in each category go on to win a coveted finalist spot.

This year, my image ‘Sur Lie,’ taken at Trisaetum in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, made the ‘Produce’ category, one of only 28 images shortlisted.

Last year, I was lucky enough to rank among the 3 finalists (from 28 shortlisted) under the ‘Places’ category, for my image ‘Patrimoine,’ taken at Villa Calicantus in Italy’s Lake Garda Bardolino wine region.

Judges announce the three finalists in each category on 27 April 2021.

As a writer, I employ words to paint images.

As a photographer, “a picture’s worth a thousand words.”

So grateful for the opportunity to share my work with the world.
