“A Vegan Guide to Eating Well in Unlikely Regions”

For those of you unaware, I’ve served as a jury member for the annual TASTE Academy of Tastemakers TASTE Awards for the past thirteen years.
During that time, I’ve had the honor and privilege of reviewing work by outstanding industry professionals vying for awards in their respective categories. In my case, my portfolio includes food, wine, travel, and lifestyle.
While it takes time and commitment, I learn much in the process, and ultimately walk away inspired.
This year, the Academy turned the tables on me, and asked if I would be willing, as a judge, to submit my own work for inclusion in their journal, TASTEABLE.
The limited edition, lifestyle publication showcases the best of “Culture, Cuisine, Commerce, and Concepts” covered by TasteTV and TCB-Cafe Publishing and Media.
The latest volume, TASTEABLE 4.0, features a heady array of ‘A-Lister’ celebrity interviews, including conversations with Lidia Bastianich, Harry Hamlin, Marcel Vigneron, Maria Lawton, and Katie Parla.
It also highlights tasty recipes, wine picks, and culinary finds, plus cutting edge tech, fab fashion, and savvy insights from business leaders and tastemakers.
More importantly, it includes my story “A Vegan Guide to Eating Well in Unlikely Regions,” reprinted with permission by Azure Road, where it appeared first.
For those of you unfamiliar with the originally published piece, the story centers around traditional ‘red meat and wine’ regions now embracing sustainable, plant-based food and wine pairings.
You can find my story in TASTEABLE 4.0 under “Tasteable Section: Places & Actions,” page. 132, now available on Amazon.
So grateful for inclusion in this deliciously delightful coffee table tome!
(Many thanks to Azure Road editor Lauren Mowery for graciously allowing TASTEABLE 4.0 to reprint my article.)
